Since its founding in 1966, Medline has been focused on innovation and growth. Part of that growth was acquiring Hudson RCI ® respiratory products to help provide a complete respiratory offering for both acute and post-acute care markets.

One of the respiratory care facilities recently marked an impressive milestone: 50 years in operation. This location in Arlington Heights, Illinois, is Medline’ s only aseptic sterile water processing facility in the United States. Here, water from Lake Michigan is processed through reverse osmosis to produce sterilized water. That water is bottled into a bubble humidifier that is manufactured onsite through a blow-fill-seal mold process, then used for a variety of respiratory care products such as airway management, oxygen therapy, medication delivery and ventilation support.
